Atari is making a cap that won`t play games, but wants to replace your speakers and headphones

In this world occasionally you can find all kind of crazy ideas that are manifested in more crazier products. One of these could be also "Speakerhat" from company Atari. After former console manufacturers have come back with some awful games and are planning to launch a retro console called Ataribox, their business plan is further expanded - they are now putting themselves in hat design.

But, these are not any hats - these have speakers on the front and can be synced with similar examples of their kind. Synchronization is, of course, done using Bluetooth technology, which means that the sound might be of questionable quality.

In any case, this device that does not have anything to do with gaming for now will not be available for sale, but who knows - if someone testifies that it is not meaningless, it might have a bright future.

Seems like they're trying to start some sort of trend
at this point I won't be surprised if this catches on or fails miserably ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It doesn't seem worth it though, I wear earbuds because my hair is out of control when I wear headsets. Having a hat would just make that worse

So you can keep the sun out of your eyes while listening to music more effectively with friends through networked hats. Although I honestly don't see the point to it! It is still nice to see Atari still kicking around after all these years, but it seems like R&D phoned it in a bit on this one.
Atari CEO: We need a new product!
R&D1: People like listening to music
CEO: Good, keep the ideas coming
R&D2: People are all about the Internet and social networking
R&D3: People like baseball caps
CEO: True, you often see them hip kids wearing hats listening to their walkmans and myspacing each other.
R&D: Music Hats that can network with each other?
CEO: Gold! This will put Atari back on the map!

Since they'll be heavier than the average hat, I wonder if they're still comfortable
