The Epic Store has revealed that World of Goo will be the next freebie that will be available on May 2. However, this won't be the exact same game that came out in 2008.
World of Goo has been given a significant update for the Epic giveaway. According to the developers, the original game ran at a 4:3 aspect ratio and at a resolution of 800x600. Most computers can't even run that properly now without glitching.
So in 2019, the game has actually been rebuilt for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. The graphics have all been upgraded and the interface has also been tweaked. One thing that won't be available, unfortunately, are in-game leaderboards like in the original game. But GooFans.com has that covered.
