I’ve used my GTX 980 FTW3 until recent and it handled games well enough for me. It was paired with an i7 3930k.

I have a 980 Ti which was among the best ones, and you can still play a lot of games, but in medium settings.

Not that bad actually. I have been using mine for 1080p gaming, and it hasn't had a game yet that it wouldn't run :)
