I know,,, GabeN publicly stated that windows 8 was a disaster for PC Gamers...
But I haven't upgraded to win 10 because I am waiting for the bugs to be fixed... especially that nasty GPU Driver Bug...
However, I don't think that win 8 was such a disaster... but merely a marketing ploy to get people to want to switch to the SteamOS...
Plus windows 10 is going to have DirectX12.. with Quantum Break being the first game to be optimized for Win 10 and DirX12... (you even get a free copy for PC if u buy the xbox game).. originally this game was going to be an xbox exclusive...
so it seems that xbox is going to try to encroach on steam with PC games having a different platform.
I am going to stick with steam instead of XBOX... but what are everyones thoughts on this... is windows 8 going to be obsolete and will win 10 try to control the PC gaming by pushing people to use windows with xbox?
