Is R7 250E (Low Profile) worth it?

  • 1

I'm kinda broke.
But I kinda need something to run my stuff too. And this one (http://bit.ly/2e1mb9C), and R7 250E looks pretty decent. And cheap. The price looks ok, some youtube videos show it handling good very well. Oh yeah, and is cheap. But all this *low profile* is scarying me. Is this really that bad?

I advice not to get Low Profile cards. Unless you have a PC casing that is small factor and can only use half height expansion cards.

Most of these PC don't have PCI-E 6pin power cable from the PSU.

Which most of the time is a secondary PC, which needs it for HDMI to connect to a HDTV in a HTPC setup.

If you have a PC casing that can support full height GFX card with PCI-E 6pin connector. Try to look for budget full height cards like nVidia GeForce 950 or AMD RX 460 or look for preowned cards in your local forum garage sale section.
