I recently got back into my childhood favorite game Old School Runescape. I love this MMO for its misleading simplicity and original gameplay. Such a great game for at work time killing or at home grinding. Skill achievemtns are so much more rewarding due to the solo aspect of the game and hours upon hours of hard work needed to get high level skills. With the recent news of the next patch coming our way, Nex will be our next boss, along with new gear and raids. I have been streaming my runescape experience on twitch under the name filthysnoogans(please join in). I've streamed over 250kc within corp and my journey to aquiring the quest cape. I recently got into god wars in order to obtain my own slice of the key pie. One jagex update that im not so much a fan of is the Grand Exchange tax thats been eating into my pocket. Ive come to understand that it was placed into the game in order to fight inflation as well as the ability to now buy more bank space. Jagex is trying control the amount of GP that has since flooded the game due to high end players. For the casual player like myself it has become harder/ more expensive to buy this high tier gear, but that's just what it is. When i stopped player a million gp felt like i was rich, now a million gp is almost the same feeling to having 100k GP. Well that ends my short lived rant.
All in all I still have a love for this game, SHOOT, i got a r11 3070 to run runescape max settings(LOL), and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Please let me know in the comments your feelings of the game, how it grew with you, and what your opinions are of the new patches releasing soon. Any and all are welcome to the conversation.
