10 fragments for 100 ARP on the market

Interstellar

That settled my -10 Fragment debt.  Fingers crossed the PUBG event happens and we're able to come together as a community and earn those additional 10 Fragments.

Also, it's interesting that the Artifact and Fragments are only going to be available for another 11 days.  I wonder if that's just a result of them coming so late in the month or...might they be replaced by other goodies in December?

One of the perks of being in a different time zone I suppose, by the time I checked on to my AWA that day the devs had long sorted out the wrongly credited fragments so I never noticed anything :D.

As for if there are more artifacty stuff next month I kinda lean towards no at this point (but feel free to prove me wrong AWA :) ). With the larger vault apparently on offer and the general wind down at that time of the year I don't imagine the staff will want to throw another log in the bonfire that this site can be sometimes. I suspect the 11 days, if I were a more cynical person, is a playful come-and-get-me-before-I-vanish-quicksmart, playing on the FOMO prevalent around this time of year.

Although to be honest purchasing them seems like a no-brainer to me, regardless of whether you've got upgradeable artifacts or not. If you can't use it now, you can in the future. As the last community event proved, they're harder to get than they might seem on paper.

Well, I did get to enjoy the perks of a prematurely upgraded Artifact, so I can't really be mad about the debt (and wasn't) since I came out ahead on that one.  It was just funny to see that -10 looming over me.

Yeah, I'm not really expecting a new Artifact or another batch of Fragments for December - I think the massive Game Vault is going to be our present - but...you never know.  They've been positively spoiling us with goodies this year, so I'm willing to believe anything is possible.  But, more likely, the smaller availability window is likely the result of them coming so late in the month.  Or, I suppose it could be representative of how they'll approach Artifacts/Fragments in the future.  They did initially say that Artifacts would be rare and only available for a short time, so we'd have to stay on our toes to collect them.  Could be they won't necessarily be added at the beginning of the month anymore and, instead, be dropped at random times (along with being occasional prizes for special Daily Quests) and only available for a week or two instead of all month.  We're creeping up on a new year, and I'm sure they have new things in store for us.  Time will tell.

We were so close to getting those Fragments from the Dota 2 event...if only more people had pitched in.  Really disappointing.  Thankfully, it looks like they're going to give us another shot by rolling them over into the PUBG event.  I just hope we can get more people to contribute this time around.  I really only have one Artifact left to upgrade, but it's going to take 51 Fragments to max it out at Interstellar, so every last one counts and I don't think they'll give us a third chance if we blow this one.

I don't think I could have stood the negative balance, I've got a thing about stuff like that : ) , if I'm really honest part of me doesn't want a new artifact next month because I just laid out my small stash of fragments upgrading the Stanley set Steam artifact a few times and as you hinted the fragments from the community event aren't a given anymore.

The refresh rate for artifacts seems to be about what I expected considering how ARP-powerful they can become, to be honest your typical Tom, Dick or Harry shouldn't be able to just rock up and get everything straight away. I wouldn't mind if AWA could come up with a solution to try and giveaway or earn the plasma artifact fairly (without the amateur lawyers in the community having a fit). I admit that since I had the temerity to be sleeping most times there was an AWA stream I never stood much of a chance getting one, but damn the few people who have them you can tell what difference it makes.

+1 hoping for the PUBG event, hopefully there are more players (idlers?) in the community. I certainly like it better than Dota, even if I do dislike being forced to move on most of the time. After the cesspooI I had to deal with in the Dota event with players on local servers, I can't imagine it being much worse. 10 fragments would be nice, with the calendar fragments I could probably upgrade my Steam as artifact again. Doesn't hurt to dream.
