HALO Infinite will have Microtransactions

Earlier this year in E3 2018, Microsoft announced that a new Halo was the next big project being worked on. Since the big announcement, very little information has been shared with the public. So its obvious that whenever a new information comes out on the internet, its bound to get everyone's attention.
The latest information about the game comes as a not so surprising news. A job listing for an Online Experience Design Director has appeared in the careers section of Microsoft's official web page, which reveals that the game will have microtransactions, just like most of the online games today. The job listing provides a brief overview on what the expectations of the company are from the applicants. One of them reads, " You will oversee and provide vision for multiple facets of design and its implementation. This includes: Progression in- and out-of-game; microtransactions and integration of our business plan throughout the game; and, finally, social and engagement features that encourage players to return again and again with their friends. " This is the first mention of microtransactions in the advertisement.
The listing also lists several responsibilities of the Online Experience Design Director, which seems to mainly emphasize on delivering the best AAA experience for its consumers. One of the responsibilities mentioned reads, "Design and deliver a AAA player investment experience that focuses on our fans and their desire to express their passion for our franchise (including but not limited to microtransactions)".
The final section, which is about the qualifications required for the job also mentions microtransactions, which reads " 8+ years working in a design capacity on at least 2+ shipped AAA titles (or live services) with a focus on Social and Microtransaction systems as a Lead Designer or higher ". The other qualifications seem to emphasize that the company is looking for an experienced candidate who knows how to lead a team, is passionate, knows how to engage the player base and can make them return back to the game and finally, a motivator who knows how to motivate his team.
Halo Infinite is one of the most anticipated games for the next gen, as its a franchise that had once dominated the gaming industry for a very long time. Recent releases have not been received very well by the fan base and it looks like the series is set to make a huge comeback with the new Halo's release. It is safe to say that the franchise still has a big cult like following and the expectations are through the roof.
