Do games have preset AlienFX lighting configs?

Hey, I am new to alienware (just got alienware 14, i7 4710, gt 750m), and am captivated by the lighting effects of AlienFX!! a friend of mine told me that a friend of his has an alienware laptop and said that during gameplay of Battlefield (3 or 4, not sure) his keys light up in response to events of the game. his example was that when he is taking fire or his health is low they blink red. Is this just a setting that is detected when you load the game or is it a specific profile that you create in AlienAdrenaline in the command center. I looked at that and played around a bit, but couldnt figure out where to set those kinds of lighting setups. this would be so kickass if true! i can just imagine throwin down the lights and gaming with reactive lighting under my hands, I would feel so boss! if anyone knows how to do this or if its just preset just let me know!!

Thanks!

Some games, like Battlefield 3, have AlienFX profiles built into them.
Unfortunately Battlefield 4 does not.

Like omega said, those effects are game related. you will find them somewhere in the options. of the games i play I know they exist in Supreme commander FA, supreme commander 2 and League of legens. <= annoying as hell.

If you think about it, alienware owners are the minority, so its usually a after thaught.

Lights like in LoL are distracting, flashing with every ping or every tiem you get gold or buy something. Supreme commander has passive lighting that matches the faction you are playing.

I almost wonder how hard it would be to make a listening program that listens for a sound and then transmits a signal that flashes your lights or something. There are usualyl sound effects related to you getting shot, so it wouldnt be completely unreasonable. A bit unreliable though.. *shrugs* im no programmer.

Very few games have it, only ones ive found are Battlefield 3 and oddly imo Cities XL Platinum, there is a plugin someone on here wrote that enables the keyboard to clone the display colors and that worked on most games fiving the Same effect.
