The Outer Worlds sets its release date
Though Obsidian is now owned by Microsoft, The Outer Worlds will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Think of it as the Fallout: New Vegas sequel that you never received but set in space.
We knew that it would arrive during this year, but we can already mark a date in the calendar. It will be on October 25.
The colonizing ship in which we travel is lost while you are heading to the ends of the galaxy, awakening us decades later than we expected to end up involved in an intricate conspiracy that threatens to destroy the colony of Halcyon.
As we explore the confines of space and come across a multitude of factions, all eager for power, whoever we decide to be will determine the fate of everyone in Halcyon. In the colony equation, we are the unforeseen variable.
