E3 2020 has officially been cancelled, the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) has confirmed.

While there have been rumors that the gaming expo would not go ahead this year, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has now released an official statement confirming that E3 2020 has been cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.

"After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles," the ESA said in its statement.

Wow got a good convenient excuse to not have it this year. So far the only things is pro basketball games played with no fans attending

No one panicked or mass closed anything over swine flu, mad cow disease, AIDS, the myriad of other communicable coronaviruses that have come and gone every year (this one is labelled for Dec 2019 discovery), nor over the hundreds of thousands worldwide who annually die from the regular flu. Pandemic does not mean fatal, regardless of the quality of public education. The common cold is a pandemic as is the stupidity of those who sell all their stocks, liquidate their 401ks, flood ERs with children of angry soccer moms demanding innoculations for their imagination, dig holes and jump on in with canned food and a gun, or run "breaking news" end of world stories hourly.
