Gearbox won't offer the bonuses they promised to their employees
People working for Gearbox are paid lower than average developers, but they can earn 40% of the studio royalties through quarterly bonuses.
After Borderlands 3's very successful launch, employees were promised huge bonuses.
At a company meeting yesterday, Randy Pitchford, studio chief, announced that since they didn't earn as much money as they expected from sales, the promised bonuses will be much lower than what they promised.
