Cyberpunk 2077 delayed till December 10th.
Developer CD Projekt Red has decided to push the release of their upcoming game to December 10th. The announcement came from the Cyberpunk 2077 twitter account (@CyberpunkGame). The statement released states that with the upcoming deadline, there is not enough time to release 9 different versions with them being fully tested. The different versions being current gen consoles, next gen consoles via backwards compatibility, PC, and Google Stadia. Adam Badowski and Marcin Iwinski pointing the finger at the current COVID-19 situation as the main cause for the delay but the game is complete. What is lacking is the Day 0 (Launch Day) patches for the different platforms. The full statement can be read below.
CD Projekt Red has had this issue before with Cyberpunk 2077 and users on social media are making there disappointment known with some users rushing to cancel pre-orders while others are creating backlashes against those who have voiced their dismay over the news.
