Halo Infinite Director Resigns from Position

In surprising news, Chris Lee, Director of Halo Infinite at 343 Industries, confirmed to Bloomberg News that he is resigning from the position and pursuing other opportunities within Microsoft.  Mr. Lee gave no reason for his resignation but indicated "I believe in the team and am confident they will deliver a great game and now is a good time for me to step away.”

Lee has been with 343 Industries since 2008 and intends to stay at Microsoft and pursue other opportunities within the company.  It is odd that he leave this position now instead of seeing the game through completion.  The hope is that his resignation doesn't cause any further delays of the game as Halo is one of gaming's biggest franchise and Infinite is one of the most anticipated games in recent memories.
