Godfall PC requirements have arrived, some will have to upgrade their "bucket"

The team from Counterplay Games have released hardware requirements for the PC version of their upcoming game Godfall. The very first next-gen title definitely is asking for a little more power.

Out of all the games that in November promise the presentation of next-gen, Godfall can be placed as the only one which, arrives for next-gen consoles, arrives on PC.  Godfall is the only new game which in parallel comes out only for PS5 and PC.

With that it is interesting to see how will it affect the requirements of the game on PC. It is known that with the arrival of the new consoles usually on PC follows also a jump in requirements, what also in the case of Godfall definitely confirms this. First, rarely some game requires 12 gigabytes of working memory under minimal. And rarely some game is looking for a graphics card with minimal 6 GB of video memory. But, Godfall is that kind of game.

Recommended requirements are still in the domain of the last generation hardware, firstly when the graphics cards are in question. But, it's about high-end graphics cards, what is not a small thing. Whatever the case might be, here's what Godfall as the very first "next-gen" game for PC (at least formally), requires to launch:

Minimal next-gen on PC:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-600
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
  • RAM: 12 GB

Recommended next-gen on PC:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti
  • RAM: 16 GB
