"Deiland: Pocket Planet" available now (PC/Steam)

After months of waiting (at least for some) Deiland returns to Steam as the new and enhanced Deiland: Pocket Planet. The game is currently sold at 25% off as a special launch promotion, which ends on 22.12.2021.

The gameplay takes place on the tiny planet Deiland with the player taking on the role of Arco, an adventurous young lad. Take care of the planet and yourself by fighting off monsters, crafting new items as well as planting and harvesting your own crops. Meet new people along the way to trade items with and help them with their tasks (quests).

Owners of the first version were able to receive the new one for free for some time. A nice gesture from developer Chibig.

Sadly the grand release is plagued with troubles, as bugs from the demo version have made it into the full game. Players who want (or have) to use their keyboard and mouse to navigate will find themselves unable to open the inventory or view quests. Actions which are quite integral to the gameplay. As far as I'm aware off people using controllers suffer no such issues.

This doesn't bode well for a newly released game. One can only hope that the developers fix this issue soon, before disappointed buyers start flooding the game with negative reviews.
