Steam Deck supports more than 250 games

Linux users should know that "Proton" has existed for some time now,  Proton is a Valve tool that aims to allow native Windows games to be emulated on different Linux distributions in an enjoyable way (using tools existing ones like Wine and DKVK). That's whats Steam Deck use to enable playing games on it (as it is based on Linux).

Some examples of the supported games are:

  • Among Us
  • Death Stranding
  • Dishonored
  • God Of War
  • Gris
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  • Monster Hunter: World
  • Resident Evil: Village
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (GOTY Edition)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The official list (264 verified games and 472 in total with "playable games") will be greatly increased since currently, through Proton, the number of games that can be run by Linux distributions exceeds a thousand (even more if you consider that many users do not report what they play at all).

Have you already reserved your Steam Deck? Yes? No? Are you interested on this thing?
