If You Like The Sims, Then You'll Love inZOI and these Other Games!

Greetings fellow Aliens! We’re back with another riveting edition of everyone’s favorite content series, *drum roll*, ‘If You Liked This Game, Then You Might These Games’! I have to admit that I have been playing a number of simulation games lately, ranging from city sims, racing sims, life sims, and day job sims? I guess we can call them that. We’re going to encompass them all into one genre of 'Simulation' for the sake of this read!

Now, if someone asked you to name the biggest simulation game, what game did you think of? It was probably GTA 6 huh? Let's back up a little -- I would argue the biggest staple in this genre of simulation titles has to be none other than The Sims, right? Nowadays, we’re up to The Sims 4 with some crazy capabilities and mods as compared to the OG days on The Sims in my buddy’s living room doing the infinite money cheat so I can build my dream house! So, looking at what we have today and looking at where we are headed is mind-blowing! Simulation games that are coming out are getting better and better with insane lifelike graphics and we’re not even talking VR (yet) – hello Metaverse! The tech is going to get insane – go read Ready Player One (yes, book is better than the movie) but that’s for another conversation!

Without further ado – if you enjoy simulation games and enjoy playing The Sims, then check out these other games! You might like them too!

inZOI

If you haven’t seen this one yet, strap in because this is what we’re talking about! inZOI is an ambitious life simulation game that puts you in control of an entire city, allowing you to observe, interact with, and influence the lives of its residents. Developed by Krafton, the game offers DEEP customization, from designing characters to shaping their personal stories, to really customizing every part of the city itself! Unlike traditional life sims, inZOI emphasizes a large-scale social ecosystem where AI-driven NPCs lead dynamic lives with realistic decision-making. You can manipulate these lives in god-like fashion or simply let the simulation unfold naturally. With detailed visual storytelling and advanced AI behaviors, inZOI really is the next-gen Sims, offering a fresh take on the genre. Merging freeform creativity with narrative-driven gameplay, we’re going to be in for a treat on this one!

Power Washing Simulator

Power Wash Simulator is one of my favorites! The game transforms the simple act of cleaning into a strangely satisfying and immersive experience, no joke, this game scratches my brain in the best way possible. Armed with a high-pressure washer, you and your friends take on various cleaning jobs, from grimy houses to amusement parks covered in dirt. The game features career and free-play modes, with a relaxing, meditative gameplay loop that rewards precision and thoroughness. With multiplayer co-op, quirky themed DLCs (including collaborations with SpongeBob and Final Fantasy VII), and a strong community, Power Wash Simulator has carved out a niche in the "oddly satisfying" gaming genre, offering stress-free gameplay that appeals to a wide audience.

TCG Card Game Simulator

I thought TCG Card Shop Simulator was going to satiate my want to buy Pokemon cards irl, but I think it’s only made it worse. The game puts you right behind the counter of your own trading card game store, managing inventory, pricing, and customer relationships. Inspired by the booming real-world TCG market, the game allows you to buy, sell, and collect rare cards while interacting with passionate collectors. You have to track market trends, negotiate trades, and even host local tournaments to boost sales. It’s an awesome blend of tycoon-style management with the excitement of card collecting, making it a dream come true for TCG enthusiasts, like me!

Fast Food Simulator

I know I have mentioned Fast Food Sim before, but I couldn’t leave it out of this one. It’s seriously a blast. Fast Food Simulator challenges you (and your friends) to run your own fast-food restaurant, handling everything from taking orders to assembling burgers and managing kitchen logistics. The game features fast-paced, hands-on cooking mechanics, requiring players to balance speed, efficiency, and customer satisfaction! As the business grows, players can unlock new menu items, upgrade kitchen equipment, and expand their restaurant. With an emphasis on chaotic gameplay, Fast Food Simulator offers a mix of time-management and cooking mechanics, appealing to fans of Overcooked and restaurant simulation games.

Ale & Tale Tavern

Ale & Tale Tavern invites you to step into the shoes of a medieval tavern owner, managing everything from brewing ale to entertaining customers. This cozy simulation game focuses on running a bustling fantasy inn, requiring you and your friends to craft unique beverages, cook meals, decorate the tavern, and hire staff. Social interactions with patrons play a big role, as their stories unfold, and new characters bring opportunities for business expansion. With detailed management mechanics, immersive storytelling, and a charming aesthetic, Ale & Tale Tavern captures the joy of hospitality in a whimsical fantasy setting.

So there you have it! Some incredible games to check out if you haven't already! Highly recommend keeping your eyes on inZOI to see how things pan out for the lifelike sim and what the modding community is going to do! If you have any favorite sims that you think should be in on this list, let us know in the comments!

Interstellar

Fast Food Simulator uses really bad AI art for it's Steam promo image. If those are the corners they cut (and potential plagiarism), take a guess at how the final game is going to look and perform.
