The Siberian cat is a large, muscular breed with a thick, water—repellent coat that can withstand low temperatures. They are distinguished by high intelligence, family friendliness, but hunting instinct and independence. They are conditionally hypoallergenic, often have tassels on their ears and a bushy tail, and weigh from 4 to 11 kg (males are larger).
