Unseen miracle - Far Cry 5 and Assassin's Creed Origins will not have a mini-map

Those who have closely followed the gameplay materials for Far Cry 5 and Assassin's Creed Origins this will not be the discovery of the century, but it was confirmed that both games by default will have mini-map turned off. Precisely, it won`t even be it. Why is this significant?

For Assassin's Creed series will be a precedent because no sequel so far forced the players to orient themselves according to the real environment, and not by icons in a corner. For Far Cry series is not entirely new because the two also there was no mini-map. Well, perhaps it is still not clear - why is it important?

It is important because the mini-map drastically harms to experience the world, or immersion of games.

How the absence of mini-maps can help the game is best seen on this year Nintendo's diamond called The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild. Finding your way in the wilderness without some sort of GPS tricks, radar or something completely third is the base of experiencing the game, as well as one of the main reasons why this adventure was so fresh.

Assassin's Creed looks really good so far.  I'm not completely sure how I feel about the lack of minimaps.  I can see how it does hurt immersion, but there are also those times when you get completely lost and it's just a pain to try to figure out where you are, I hope there's at least some sort of mapping/coordinates

Namaste

I can see myself getting lost pretty easily without it.  You want more immersion don't look at it.
