Pay to get all fast.

I played it on EU at start, 3 years ago i leave and come back around couple months ago.

In my opinion, was more p2w at start then now.

TOXIC community anyway is not dead

As far as monetization models are concerned, it's still p2w. Is it mandatory in order to progress fast? Yes. I isn't mandatory however if you choose to not max out all the end game gear in one month? Absolutely not. You can pretty comfortably get to the end game and do it without investing a single nickel.

The optimization is horrific and can give you all sorts of headaches. The launcher is a joke and can randomly just not function during installation or updates.

The engine is old and requires hardware that never existed in order to run smoothly. Even the latest and greatest Intel/AMD/nVidia beasts won't save you from stuttering. This is supposed to be addressed in an upcoming UE4 patch, but we don't even have an ETA on that one yet, so it might be artificial hype for the sake of keeping people around for more p2w cash flow.

The bot protection system in the face of xigncode is a joke which causes latency spikes and bogs down the simulation as a whole by constantly tampering with keyboard/mouse inputs and ram pages in order to do it's job (which it actually does, we are bot free since it was implemented. I guess you can call it a necessary evil for the sake of not sinking the ingame economy).

Other than those issues, the game is a great experience. If you find some good people to play with, it's very enjoyable and you don't have to worry about the toxicity which TuNaTa pointed out (and yes, it's totally there and can make you lose faith in humanity pretty fast :D). There are plenty of dungeons to best, plenty of weekly raids with medium to high degree of difficulty and, obviously, pvp arenas for one vs one, tag team, death match and capture the flag modes.

pay 2 progress is the name of the game but if you invest allot but really allot of time you can keep up with the rate the game keeps pumping out content. But ofcourse if you don't like to grind allot everyday or just don't have the time for it i wouldn't really say that it's the game for you to play
