Did Gearbox actually tease Crossplay for Borderlands 3 with this cryptic Event coming up?

*Update*: They did not. But instead it's an official Announcement for Co-Op in Boderlands 3. However Gearbox officially said, while Crossplay won't be avaible at launch, they are working hardly on adding it later as soon as possible.

Two months before the release of Borderlands 3, Gearbox Software has announced a new event, which will take place on July 16, 2019, on the shooter's website. 

With the motto "Celebration of Togetherness" fans will have to take a look at the website on Tuesday at 7 am PDT. The tweet itself is strongly reminiscent of an invitation to a wedding:
 

At the moment it is still unclear what Gearbox wants to say with this cryptic message. However, some fans already have their first guess. Accordingly, this could be an announcement of a crossplay feature for Borderlands 3. This would allow fans to play the shooter together on different platforms. Prior in April, Publisher 2K Games has held back with a statement on Crossplay for Borderlands 3, but did not completly deny it. 

In the latest tweet of the official Twiiter Account, the Developer posted the Link to an upcoming YouTube-Premire of the Event:

reads the livestream's title. 2k definitly knows how to raise hopes. Let's hope they dont let us down. The 3rd part of the shooter franchise will be released on September 13, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
