Interesting sales data was published by Mat Piscatella on Twitter - they relate to the period from September 2018.
Total hardware, software and game accessories sales dropped by 6% over 365 days - to $ 8.3 billion. At the same time, however, the sales of games increased, but only thanks to Nintendo Switch. The decrease is mainly due to the decrease in sales of hardware.
Given the last 12 months, these are the top 3 best-selling games (all platforms and all forms of distribution): Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops IV and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The complete list is as follows.
