Welcome to Paradise... or Not.

Hey everyone, welcome to Lilylagoon, my less than perfect island on Animal Crossing.

I've been playing quite a bit of Animal Crossing New Horizons lately, and there are quite a few things that aren't quite right. If you're like me, some of the Animal Crossing features get old QUICK and leave you with the feeling that if you smash X on your controller, It might somehow make it go away faster.

Isabelle's News

We do not want to hear about your video chat with your parents about what you watched on tv the night before! Every day this is a colossal waste of the player's time and is stuck on a loop of parents, tv, magazines, and MAYBE if we are lucky, an event.

Angled Bridges

Have you terraformed your entire island to create your own utopian society when you go to build a bridge, and you cant put it where you want? All because it's not EXACTLY straight, although even.

Villagers that will not leave

I try to love all my villagers, but I've been ignoring one for a significant time and to no avail, and Boyd is still enjoying life on my island.

Cannot stack Manila clams

These are small little clams, let them stack Nintendo!

Cannot store flowers

If you're like me and planted 2 million flowers on your island to get to level 5 fast, your probably having the same issue. Now that our islands are in full gear and the terraforming has begun, where do we put all the flowers we want to keep? There is only so much beach…

DIY cards

They are great at first but wait until you get 20 duplicates, and you cant put them in storage.

Not enough design slots

Have an excellent idea for a custom path and other designs you want to put around your town? You're limited. AND if you replace over a current design, that original design, if on your island, will instantly change.

Having to hear Gullivers pitch every time you encounter him

I think he would have learned by now or get a better crew.

Not being able to craft multiples

Please let us create more than one DIY at a time! Or skip the crafting motion at least.

Not being able to craft with items in storage

It's so irritating having to pull items out of storage like wood and stone in order to craft on your workbench inside your house? Yeah, me too.

Mailing a letter is a chore

Letters to friends or villagers is a chore in Animal Crossing. Either backspacing out all the text or writing a message, it takes forever and is not worth it.

Having to go to the airport to go online

Can we just have an app on our phone that lets us connect online? Dodo? Instead of forcing us to go to the airport and listening to Orville speak for an eternity before getting to where you want to go gets old.

Even with all these issues, Animal Crossing New Horizons has a special place in my heart. Kicking back after a long day of work and seeing my favorite villagers, *cough cough* Stitches always brings a smile to my face.

Nice

Do you also play Animal Crossing?

The game is very monotonous. I don't want to play a game every day where you just walk up and down aisles of trees and press the same button over and over. The quality of life features are just non-existent. The online play is just ..bland..basically "come look at the stuff in my house." With major emphasis on look - it's so disappointing that barely anything can be interacted with and when it can, it's just a jiggle or a short animation and if you're lucky, a sound clip.

Disappointed in this game.

I never understaind this game, why PEOPLE want (love), make the same and again the same things. And tomorrow let's go make the same thing, but EXACT the same thing...
Nintendo it's a GENIUS
