I missed many giveaways on indiegala. Now they can be picked up again only in the client.

Cheese n rice. Space is prime on my PC, I really don't want to add another client when I have dozens of others already. I hope I didn't miss much. Everything I grabbed was directly online.

EDIT: Actually, I just looked now. I can't see these games as recent giveaways. I previously claimed them all a while ago.

EDIT 2: I think I see it now. The difference between online and the client is that the freebies page lists all the freebies on the client, while the online version shows the (presumably) active current ones. The problem with the client though is that all the games' pages somehow don't register you as logged in to even claim them on the client - which doesn't suggest that it is currently possible to have a client-exclusive giveaway. It's just not possible. Meanwhile, all I can do is just go online without the client and claim/download my games there. I don't even need the client.

Probably not. Indiegala giveaway most of the good games on the site. The client often throws an error. I often forget which games I already have because of the large number of clients, GOG saves me 

Once you claim (Add to Library) the games in the Freebie tab, they move to your library. So if you missed a lot of giveaways, you will see a lot more than 7 on the Freebie tab until you claim them.

There are 2 types of Freebies pages. One is a "showcase", which displays the whole catalogue of free games that are available. The other is where the "active" giveaways happen (some temporary). In either one, the games will not disappear just because you claimed them. That's not what that is there for. The library exists to populate the list of games you claimed, so it most certainly doesn't get "moved" per se. To "claim" a game is to "unlock" the download for it in your account's library, that is all.

In the client, you may get to see a lot more games in the active freebies page than the one online. Again, none of them "disappear" upon the condition you claim them. It's just a distinction of what the clinet shows and what is shown online.

You seem unusually certain about what the IGClient is or does, although you admit that you don't use it and will not install it.

I'm surprised that you are concerned about the overhead from one more client "when I have dozens of others already".

The 7 games that were showing as claimable in the Freebies tab yesterday are now in my IGClient library, and like the other games there, are now available to download.

None of the 7 are listed on the IG Giveaways page (yet), I've checked for several in the IG Store and they do not list.

They are there for any users of the client to view and claim.
