Couple Married in CoD Themed Wedding

It’s a rare and beautiful moment when you meet someone you click with in a game lobby. For most, these rare instances result in a bit of Discord chat and gaming here and there when you’re both online, but for Brad and Chloe, their chance meeting in a Call of Duty lobby was the beginning of the rest of their lives together.  

Brad "TheCallofDutyDJ" and Chloe "chloejagger” tied the knot on August 28th with a Call of Duty themed wedding perfectly aligning with the CoD: Next event. As CoD players rejoiced in the return of the Warzone map Verdansk and the addition of Main Quests to zombie maps, Chloe and Brad celebrated their love for each other. Brad sported a black suit and orange tie (the colors of Black Ops 6) and cufflinks with the Call of Duty logo as Chloe waltzed down the aisle with an orange bouquet. 

No themed wedding is complete without working the theme into the vows, and the couple perfectly understood the assignment:
 

"Chloe, I have adored you since the first lobby we met," Brad said to his bride in the recording of their wedding. "It was truly love at first snipe."

"You instantly made me laugh harder than I ever have," Chloe said. "I vow to stay by your side, even when you steal my kill."

Stealing kills? That’s true love right there! As the couple exchanged their vows, the crowd of sunglasses and CoD shirts enthusiastically applauded them. After sharing their first kiss, the couple cut into their four-tiered white wedding cake fitted with orange accents, the CoD logo, ACOG crosshairs, and toppers of the couple playing the game together in wedding attire. 
 

When asked about the honeymoon, Brad stated that their immediate plans were to go home and play the beta as much as they could, worrying about the honeymoon afterward. The couple certainly has had enough time to play the beta by now, but with the launch of Black Ops 6 coming on October 25th, one has to wonder if the quality of a hotel's wifi has had any impact on their destination of choice.
